Mugabe Claude, the CEO and Founder of Break Your Chain, emerged from humble beginnings in a financially challenged family. His life took a transformative turn when he received support from Compassion International, a renowned non-profit organization. Reuben Willard and Kendra Willard, founders of Lift Them Up International, played a pivotal role in Mugabe’s journey, providing him with essential resources from primary school through university.
Their intervention not only changed Mugabe’s life trajectory but also instilled in him a profound sense of gratitude and purpose. Motivated by the impactful change they brought into his life, Mugabe embarked on a mission to give back to society. He founded Break Your Chain with a clear vision: to empower youth to break free from the shackles of poverty.

Before each sports training session with the boys, we engage in discussions that encompass prayer and mentorship, instilling in them the belief that they possess the ability to rise above poverty through soccer. Conversely, with the girls’ team, our focus is on providing comprehensive education aimed at preventing unplanned pregnancies, empowering them with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed choices about their reproductive health.”
